Uses of Cyano Silanes

Uses of Cyano Silanes

1. chromatography column

Changfu cyano silane-prepared chromatography columns are suitable for both reversed and normal phase chromatography. In reversed phase, they have different selectivity from C18 or C8 phases. In the normal phase, they are less retentive than silica columns.

2. Electrochemical energy storage devices

These cyano silanes can improve the compatibility and interface performance between the positive and negative electrodes and the electrolyte, form a dense and stable protective film containing silicon and nitrogen elements at the electrode interface, effectively suppress the oxidation and decomposition of the electrolyte, and enhance the electrochemical performance of the battery, including high temperature/high voltage cycle life, discharge capacity, and rate.
